In the last phase, or simply, a ‘Placement Wing’ for BBA Final Year, the most crucial aspect of the BBA department is concerned and covered, which is the placement of all interested students first and most, In all the students are in personal touch, and they are thoroughly active in the students' group along with their parents in parents group, continuous JD (Job Description) along with all the details like company name, location, package, academic requirements, documents fulfillment, joining date etc. consistently sent to the students, and they have to compulsorily participate and register themselves for all the placement drives whether organized at any of our campus as MIT, MIET or IPEC Ghaziabad. Before going for final interviews, or even for the screening exercises, all students have been prepared in advance by all the trainers associated with them regarding all the requisite skills like Presentations, Mock Interviews, GD, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning & Mental Ability, General Knowledge & Current Affairs etc.

The placement of MIT-BBA already has several questions prepared in advance which are generally asked by all the organizations by the students regarding their introduction, goal, vision, mission, career objective, taking up future challenges, emotional intelligence-based questions, hobbies and interest level and how they align them with their job, their contribution towards the organization etc. All students are provided with the necessary training for the essential grooming skills and communication enhancement & empowerment expertise so that they can face the interview with the right confidence. As a result and with the mix of all required elements, finally, students of MIT-BBA appear for interview and miraculously and, with god’s grace, we achieve an enormous success rate in the same.

Absolutely, sir, and I also agree 100% that without academics nothing can be achieved and, especially, all the parents are primarily concerned with academic honesty, integrity & loyalty in all sense keeping all extracurricular and non-curricular activities, sports participation, placements, infrastructural aspects, industrial visits, recreational tours etc.  This is the question aligned here, as whether the MIT-BBA is so concerned with the placement activities just from scratch, as how the students are able to cope with academics. For here to justify I must propose that MIT-BBA doesn’t boast of with 100% placements to all the students likewise all other institutions are proposing rather a 100% placements to all the interested students with at least three four offer letters in hand.

  • MIT-BBA presents the real and exact packages of all the students, slightly ignoring the average package that has more variations. Placement activity is the parallel activity of MIT-BBA which keeps on continuing side by side along with, a strong academic pace and full integrity.
  • MIT-BBA ensures valuable transparency and fair justice with academics and promise that there will be no academic loss to any students by any means. In the first year of BBA, it is mandatory for all students to attend the regular classes (75% attendance at minimum and compulsory for all students) and also, students attending are strictly not admitted to the MIT-BBA program at any cost. Not even a single student is allowed or permitted to leave the class without urgent approval or parent mutual consent for any extracurricular, co-curricular, sports, macro-level college activity.
  • MIT-BBA advocates a strong bonding and association with our students through a strong ‘Mentor-Mentee System’ which co-exists with a ‘Class Coordinator’ as well. It is a two-way channel which keeps on monitoring each and every student on different aspects and academic monitoring is of prime concern. As a result, the first year of MIT-BBA is totally inclined towards academics with just scanning and sorting out a streamlined process of cell placement. Here I can provide all the ‘Academic Learning and Participation’ with the ‘Teaching Learning Process’ of MIT-BBA as per the requirement.

Moving towards the second year of BBA, which as a part of a placement aspect mainly focuses on the internship opportunities for the students, which in turn are accomplished, with the mutual consent of all the parents, rather than the complete and specified discretion of the concerned students along with their parents. Even then, a separate group is created for such internship-based students and that particular data is available with all the subject instructors to provide the extra classes on Saturday along with the absentees and weak and slow learners in that particular subject. Students are encouraged to undergo a cabin teaching methodology any time as per their suitability and convenience if they have their offs. Subject teachers and instructors are used to taking online classes for all such internships, taking students to cover their syllabus and ensure that they will not suffer any academic loss.

Similarly, in the final year being the most crucial year and allocated to the placement year for the students, we majorly focus on the academics through the anytime anywhere problem resolution strategy for the students through online platforms, extra class on Saturday, cabin teaching methodology etc. Even for the sessional 1, sessional 2 and pre-university examinations, all the students of MIT-BBA second and third year are strictly instructed to provide the handwritten in-house solutions in order to make them accustomed to the habit of examinations. To support this we can present relevant data in the form of compiled results of second year and third year students, which clearly indicates that comparatively and relatively higher marks in all subjects are secured by the students who have undergone an internship in second year or a placement in third year. Apart from all this, not even a single student is bound or in a strong bond with any of the organization to continue with the internship or the placement if they feel that academics are more important for them, but in that case, they have to be highly attentive in class after regularly attending the classes.

As far as-differentiated academic facilities which MIT-BBA is providing and delivering are-like ICT-based learning with all audio – video facilities, all smart classrooms, frequent guest lecturers from industry/corporate experts with interaction with the students, subject-specific-trainings and projects, case studies based teaching, regular assignments, tutorials and presentations, Subject specific in class activities like quiz, newspaper reading etc. Various value-added programs like foreign languages GERMAN & FRENCH are the regular aspect of MIT-BBA academic pedagogy. As discussed previously as well, MIT-BBA is well known for its offbeat training, certifications and value-added programs all around. Here, if we talk about the training, then Tally 9.0 for students who are interested in an accounting career, Advanced Microsoft. Excel and Financial Modeling for students opting for finance, AWS (Amazon Web Services), Warehouse Management, Digital Marketing etc. are predominantly important for students who are digitally inclined and really want to gain expertise in digital tools and applications. Similarly, students are provided with AIMA Biz Lab Training to gain the insight of the real business world through the simulation and virtual interfaces of business. MIT-BBA provides incubation-led training for students. As recently, BBA first year students have successfully participated in a Village fair in Baghpat (UP) and designed catalogs for various product categories in various business segments for self-help groups. Foreign language classes like German and French are compulsorily a part of regular programs for all students. Even after every industrial visit, like Yakult Denon Pvt. Ltd, Sonipat, Coco Cola, Moiudinpur Sugar Mil etc. All students are supposed to give a presentation on the learning obtained and outcomes achieved the same way.

Compulsory Internship & Placements:

This highlighted point has already been discussed in detail. However, here we will be specific about the various national and international organizations where the students are already working (2023 passed out batch and 2024 passing out batch). Students are currently working in various organizations, like HDFC Bank, Insurancedekho. Com, PNB Metlife, Bhutaniinfra, Tetrahedran, Unorg Vendor, Param, Vaastu Housing Finance, Accentrix, InvestoExpo, NSB BPO, Axis Bank, Uproar Learning, Hike Education, Remotestate, Leading Solutions, Teamlease, Eteam, Parle Agro, Nexjob.in, CapitalVia, MV Workforce, Muthoot Finanace, ICCS Ltd, Girnar Insurance Pvt. Ltd., Paisabazaar.com, Suwasthi Intesnse Realty Pvt. Ltd., Internet Gurukul, Q-Connect, Learning Routes, Insplore Pvt. Ltd., Morena Technologies, Forever Living Imports (India) Pvt. Ltd. etc and many more. These companies are the real and exact companies where all the students are successfully working and performing very well. Mostly, all the students work in New Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida. Recently, Vidhi Tyagi of the BBA Final year(2021-24) has been selected in ‘Academor’ and she will e joining Bengaluru after her exams. If we talk about the packages, then it averages 3–4 lakhs per annum initially, almost every successfully placed student they are, because below this, it is not possible for the students, at least, to meet their expenses on metros.

Participation in various Micro/Macro-level activities/ clubs etc.:

As discussed previously, all students sharpen and groom their personality by participating in various macro-level activities and events like MRIDANG – An Annual Fest, Dandiya Night, Fresher’s Party where they showcase their talent and highlight themselves as benchmarks personalities. Apart from that, BBA students are continuously participating in AIMA (All India Management Association), New Delhi events like HR Conclave held recently at Lodhi road, New Delhi and AIMA Summit held recently at Taj Hotels, New Delhi. Students of BBA participated as volunteers in an Inter School AIMA Student Management Quiz-2023 held at MIT, Meerut, recently organized by AIMA, New Delhi. Also, there are numerous micro-level activities taking place at departmental level in which all students regularly participate. BBA students last year took part in a national level jewelry exhibition organized by the Meerut bullion association as well. AICTE IDEA LAB – MIET, Meerut had organized a five day training program (SDP) on CAD Modelling, CO2 laser & CNC Routing for all the students where MIT-BBA students had successfully participated and learned a lot.  As far as trainings are concerned, ZENITH & AMCAT trainings are provided for all students, especially for the final year students, to enhance their quantitative, aptitude, English, reasoning and Information Technology abilities to make them corporate savvy in all aspects and dimensions.

As we all know, CCS University, Meerut has already revised its BBA course curriculum in the year 2020 by introducing the CBCS (Choice Based Credit System) for the BBA final year and also incorporated the four subjects in into semester to assess the Arithmetic ability, Reasoning aptitude, General business awareness and General English skills for the students. However, the syllabus structure and how differently each subject is taught at MIT is as follows:

First semester:

This is a root level semester with an objective to build a strong foundation in basic business related subjects. As BBA is for by the students of all streams (12th Standard), so MIT, Meerut and take special care of all the students, especially from humanities and science backgrounds, so that they will easily and comfortably accustomed to all the business-related subjects this semester. Two major diversifications are available, like in one group we have the subjects Accounting & Financial Analysis, Managerial Economics & Business Law, which are considered a bit typical and require special attention by the non-business studies background students. For this, all such students will have to undergo cabin teaching and there is a system of extra classes on Saturdays or even after the class hours. It has been observed that for such subjects, students are a bit psychologically negative and take it as the weakest link between them, especially for accounting. In the second group, we have subjects like Fundamentals of Management, Organization Behavior & Business Organization & Ethics, which are totally conceptual and theoretical in nature, and they moreover need presentation skills infused with the latest examples & cases and current happenings in the business world. For all the subjects, MIT-BBA ensures to make the students practice the last year question papers accordingly for each unit covered. One more subject – Environmental Studies-is available, which is just a qualifying in nature with a highly comprehensive syllabus.

Second semester:

This semester is again in continuation with root level business fundamental training among the students introducing HR and Marketing as business functions bearing subjects like Quantitative Techniques in Business (QTB), Business Communication, Human Resource Management, Marketing Management, Business Environment and Fundamentals of Computers. In this subject, the most crucial subject, which is moreover technical, is QTB, and it is based on statistical fundamentals like descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, probability, time series analysis, extrapolation & interpolation etc. MIT-BBA has a specialized faculty for this subject which is obtained from a specialized department ensuring the inculcation of best possible and benchmarked skills among the students. The same is the case with subjects like Business Communication – a specialized faculty has been allocated the same subject. This semester is also having a soft skills viva voce examination for students. From the first semester, we only provide small secondary data-based research projects for the students so that they will at least know the process of collection of data.

Third semester:

Third semester has subjects like Advertising Management, Customer Relationship Management, Team Building & Leadership, Management Information System, Indian Economy and Income Tax. Again, MIT-BBA ensures that they allocate the subjects to the right faculty members as per their qualifications/specialization in the same. For subject like Income Tax, the subject expert from a specific commerce background with full numerical ability is allocated. Continuous faculty feedback mechanism is available throughout, so that, if any student has any issues in any subject, they can easily resolve the same.

Fourth semester:

In this semester, BBA has subjects like Consumer Behavior, Entrepreneurship Development, Sales & Distribution Management, Production & Operation Management, Financial Management and Research Methodology. Apart from all conceptual subjects, the subjects like Financial Management & Research Methodology are taught with specialized hands-on training with financial modeling software and SPSS training in research methodology. Students have to design the projects on the same subjects. In this semester, a computer oriented Viva Voce exam is also available, for which regular practical sessions in the lab have been arranged throughout the semester.

Fifth semester:

This semester is the most essential domain of the entire BBA program as it covers four major MCQ based subjects-such as Arithmetic Aptitude, Aptitude Reasoning, General English and General Business Awareness. Along with this, students' two subjects are choice based as students have to choose between Marketing (Rural Marketing & Service Marketing) or Finance (Corporate & Direct tax and Financial Institutions & Investment Management). This semester we have also had Research Project Viva Voce Examination of 100 marks, where all MIT-BBA students used to prepare a real industry-led project based on secondary or primary data under the supervision and guidance of specific supervisors. Many students are on the job this semester, so MIT-BBA takes the utmost care by arranging extra classes for the students, ensuring zero academic loss for them.

Sixth semester:

This semester has subjects such as Strategic Management & Business Policy, Fundamentals of Ecommerce, Economic & Industrial Law and Operation research. Along with these two subjects are choice based on Marketing (Retail Management and Digital Marketing) & Finance (Cost & Management Accounting and Company Accounts). However, in this semester except finance specialization subjects, all other subjects are conceptual in nature, so MIT-BBA carries on with the same teaching pedagogy as in the third and fourth semesters. In this semester, all the passing out students have to undergo a Comprehensive Viva Voce exam as well, which is completely based on the till date BBA program. Above all, MIT-BBA still encourages online participation of all the students and in deep contact with all the instructors and faculty members.
